Welcome

Hi! I'm Pastor Marvin!

This site started out as a place to collect thoughts and resources as our family journeyed through adaptation to the disability of our daughter. During the past decade of ministry, we've discovered many things along the way. We incorporated as Rayne Project Ministries in 2004 as a 501c(3) tax deductible ministry and received IRS approval in 2006.

My wife and I have spent the better part of the last decade also serving in family pastoral and transformation discipleship ministries, including ACTS / ACSI Christian schooling in both board, pastoral oversight, and Head of School positions. You will find links to schools and ministries we have been part of over the last few years.

I serve on the executive board of Friendship Ministries - an international ministry with curriculum and groups on three continents in multiple languages. I also serve with the National Association of Christians in Special Education (NACSPED) -- a coalition of like minded leaders of graduate level Christian education seeking to bring faith into the special education sphere.

I am currently hoping to transition to a position in a congregational community which seeks to welcome people of all ages and abilities. (view resume)

In my spare time, I'm either working on my D.Min project in disability theology, or cheering on Nebraska Cornhusker football.
